French midfielder Adrien Rabiot is struggling to find a new club as his wage demands have spilled over into his national team.
Rabiot is yet to sign a contract with any club, despite interest and offers, with Italian outlet Calciomercato claiming the fee is too high for any club to pay.
According to reports, Veronique, the mother who also acts as his agent, is insisting on a salary of €10 million per year plus a signing fee of €15 million, leading to a number of clubs dropping their plans for the player, including Manchester United and Newcastle United.
Before his contract expire at the end of June, Juventus tried to renew the contract with the same salary figure of 7.5 million euros per year for a period of 2 years, but the contract was reject and did not look back on the offer of 5.5 million euros per year plus add-ons from AC Milan either.
Meanwhile, Rabiot has no interest in moving to the Saudi Arabian or Turkish leagues after receiving offers from Al Nassr and Galatasaray.
The issue saw Rabiot drop out of France’s squad for September’s Nations League, with coach Didier Deschamps expressing his disappointment at the ยูฟ่าเบท embarrassing situation and vowing not to be call up until he finds a new club.
